Congregational Report Passwords
Your congregation should have received its Congregational Report Password by now. The synod office also receives these passwords. Please go on the churchwide website (www.elca.org) to download the worksheet and report to use as you fill out your report. When completed, return to the churchwide website to complete your Congregational Report for 2007. Feel free to contact Cheryse Brenno-Sloan at the synod office (507-280-9457, 800-426-6376 in Minnesota or by ) if you ever have any questions about the report. The Congregational Reports will be due February 1, 2008.

Rostered Leaders Report
As a rostered leader in the ELCA, you must submit an annual report to the bishop. These forms are available on the ELCA churchwide website under the Office of the Secretary. They are due by February 15.

Synod Assembly
Before your congregation's annual meeting, make sure you know how many voting members you need to elect for the synod assembly. All clergy and AIMS under call on the roster of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod are voting members to the Synod Assembly. Each congregation is also eligible to send two lay voting members. Additional voting members are based on the baptized membership from two years prior to the assembly (i.e. for the 2008 assembly use the 2006 numbers which are available in the blue 2007-2008 synod handbook). The total lay voting members from any congregation should be as nearly as possible 50% male and 50% female.
