Rev. Carmala Aderman
Rev. Carmala Aderman is a
pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and currently is
called to serve as an Assistant to the Bishop in the Northwest Synod of
Wisconsin. The synod has oversight of 211 ELCA congregations. Her
responsibilities focus primarily on leadership support and development,
working with congregations and pastors to transition into an evangelistic,
missional mindset (heart set!) for the 21st century.
She also works for the ELCA as
a Mission Director responsible for starting new congregations in the
Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, as a Consultant for the Mid-Size Congregation
Transformation Project, as a Partner in Evangelism for the ELCA's Division
for Congregational Ministry, and was the Vice-Chair of the ELCA's Evangelism
Strategy Task Force.
She previously served Mt.
Morris Holden Lutheran and West Holden Lutheran Churches in Wautoma,
Wisconsin.
She received her M.Div. from
Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. and a B.S. in Bacteriology from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Bible Study
Rev. Dr. Kathryn Bradley-Love
The Rev. Dr. Kathryn
Bradley-Love is serving in the Division for Congregational Ministries as
Associate Director of Evangelism.
Dr. Bradley-Love was born in
Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Chicago Theological Seminary with a
Master of Divinity; and later attended the Lutheran School of Theology at
Chicago, taking the required additional subjects to become a Lutheran
pastor. During her education at LSTC, she served a one-year internship at
Zion Lutheran Church in Chicago.
Dr. Bradley-Love received her
Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio
while serving as senior pastor of Martin Luther Church in Mobile, Alabama.

Rev. Eric Shafer
The Rev. Eric C. Shafer is
Director of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's (ELCA) Department
for Communication. A pastor of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod, Shafer
is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and the Hamma School of Theology. Before
joining the ELCA staff full time in Chicago in 1992, he served from 1983 as
assistant to the bishop in the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod as well as
shared staff for the Division for Congregational Ministries (stewardship)
and The Lutheran magazine. Shafer began his ordained ministry in 1976 as
pastor of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania.
As director of the Department
for Communication, Shafer supervises a staff of 28 church communication
professionals who are responsible for the internal and external
communication for this church. Included in these ministries are the ELCA's
presence on the World Wide Web, LutherLink, Seeds for the Parish, MOSAIC,
Lutheran Vespers, news releases for the secular news media and more. He is
also leading the ELCA's efforts to "resurrect" the Davey and Goliath
children's television series.
Shafer has recently been named
an advisor to the Lutheran World Federation Council.

Dakota Road Music is a worship
and music publishing, leadership and performance company that specializes in
original, faith-filled music. Their songs of faith and love, hurts and hopes
have put them at the heart of the movement toward using a wide variety of
musical gifts to lead worship and inspire participation. Their songs,
ranging from sacred to silly, touch people of all ages and walks of life.
Larry Olson & Hans Peterson
are partners in Dakota Road Music. Hans & Larry have the creative talents of
music leadership, a passion for justice and a vision for the church and
neighborhood as welcoming places. They live in the confidence that "to each
is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good" (I Cor 12:7).
Born and raised in Alaska,
Hans began his life in the midwest at Luther College. Since graduation he
toured with a musical group to West Africa, worked as a youth
director/contemporary worship coordinator in Stewartville, Minnesota, lived
in an artist cooperative, and served in a Catholic Worker house of
hospitality. Hans' interest in learning and love for music led him to United
Seminary (UCC) where he completed a masters degree of theology in the arts.
Singer/songwriter/guitarist
Larry Olson grew up on a farm near Madison, Minnesota, and graduated in 1985
from South Dakota State University with a degree in teaching. While at SDSU,
Larry began crafting and performing original songs and in 1988 he co-founded
Dakota Road Music. Since then Larry has recorded numerous CDs and written
and published hundreds of songs that have been passed to the corners of the
U.S. and beyond. Larry's songs come alive with stories of his rural roots,
ponderings of parenthood and journeys of faith.
