How Many Voters Is Your Congregation Entitled To?

Who may register as a voting member?
Voting members to the Assembly will be the following:
1. All clergy and AIMS under call on the roster of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod
2. The formula for congregational voting members for the synod assembly is

• two lay voting members elected/chosen by each congregation

• plus additional lay voting members based on 2003 baptized membership
  (to determine baptized membership, refer to the Congregation Roster in the 2004-2005 Synod Handbook):
  901-1500, 1 additional
  1501-2100, 2 additional
  2101-2700, 3 additional
  2701-3300, 4 additional
  3301-3900, 5 additional
  3901-4500, 6 additional

• The total lay voting members from any congregation should be as nearly as
  possible 50% male and 50% female.
