Microsoft Publisher - this page has a number of links to online sources for Publisher help.

Microsoft Word - this PDF was provided by Jill Hortsmann, a Microsof Office expert from Software EXCELerators, Rochester, Minn., who presented on Microsoft Word at the workshop.

Software Saving - Jill Hortsmann also wanted to share some options for saving money on software. Besides the Microsoft non-profit pricing she mentioned (available from the company and some other retailers), she also wanted to share the company TechSoup. Communicators in our synod have shared that they do have good pricing, but technically churches don't qualify, but finding alternate ways to qualify (ex. Sunday school or other educational program) can work. Another cost-saver, the company that the synod office often uses, is Consistent Computer Bargains for Non-Profits.
