Candidacy in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is the churchwide
process of preparation and formation leading to approval for the public
ministries of this church: commissioned associate in ministry, consecrated
deaconess or diaconal minister, or ordained pastor. Candidacy invites an active
partnership of candidate, congregation, synod, seminary, and the Division for
Ministry.

"Moments
for Ministry" Bulletin/Newsletter Inserts PDF
Created by the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Recruitment Task Force,
"Moments for Ministry" are downloadable bulletin/newsletter inserts available
for congregations in the Southeastern Minnesota Synod. Each insert includes a
short meditation on ministry, giving the readers food for thought about where
God is calling them. Each insert also includes a "Did you know?" fact and a
prayer focus for the month. The inserts are half-sheet size and each is for a
specific month, from June through May. |
