The Archives of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are the
collective memory of the ELCA churchwide organization, including records of
predecessor church bodies, inter-Lutheran organizations, and certain records
relating to ELCA synods and their predecessors, as well as leaders and
congregations of the church.

Region 3 Archives
Records in the ELCA Region 3 collection
date from 1843 and cover church communities in North Dakota, South
Dakota, and Minnesota, with additional material from Wisconsin and Iowa.
